To make the dressing, just add all the ingredients into a bowl mix well. To assemble the bowls, simply add the rice as the base, top with any prepared fruit or veggies of your choosing, sprinkle on the garnishes and drizzle on the dressing. |
We tried this recipe for the first time coming out of the 2017 holiday season and ate all the food that comes with the holidays. I saw this on one of my favorite Youtuber/blogger's website Pick Up Limes. Get the full recipe, the beautiful photos, and video there. We were in desperate need of something clean and healthy to eat, and this delivered. The first time we made this we followed the directions by the book. We had no meat included the first time and were concerned that it wouldn't be filling enough, but it most certainly was. The second time we added chicken, and I don't know that it was necessary, but both were incredibly enjoyable! Absolutely love this recipe. I will note that the dressing makes the recipe. Without it it would just be some veggies and rice and fruit randomly mixed. The dressing really pulls it all together.
