Homemade Pizza
Ingredients:
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 3/4 cup cool water
- 1 pkg yeast
- 1/4 cup warm water
- pepperoni
- mozzarella cheese
- pizza sauce
- tomato
- green pepper
- mushroom
- onion
- whatever pizza toppings you'd like!
Directions:
This homemade pizza came from Kyle's moms recipe for the crust. Where of course I thought we'd get pre-made crust, the homemade crust was incomparable.
First, mix the flour and the salt. In the center of the dry mixture make a well and pour in the honey, olive oil, and cool water. Roughly mix. Separately, add the yeast to the warm water, mix and let dissolve. Then pour that into the dough. Knead the dough until smooth and evenly distributed.
Place the dough in a greased bowl and let sit for 30 minutes to rise.

60 minutes before cooking divide your dough in half and roll (or throw) each ball into a circle. |

When you are ready to cook, preheat oven to 425 degrees. While it is heating, arrange all desired ingredients on the pizza. |
This recipe turned out so well. Definitely better than some pizza that we've ordered in. Plus, though not actually healthy, this had to be much healthier than the processed ingredients we usually intake. I was very surprised by how easy and delicious this was. Definitely want to add to the regular repertoire! Added bonus, neither of us had to compromise the toppings that we wanted!
